I have heard through friends that are now back from volunteering that the hardest part of the process is being cleared medically. I heard that it was the hardest part about a month ago, and I was cleared in February. Since then I have been waiting to be invited and from the person I talked to yesterday in the legal department I will be receiving my invitation in a week or so.
The main thing I need to do now is take care of some things here and sort of wrap my mind around the reality of this really happening.
I really do not have much more to say except that the next time I write it will probably be about where I will be living and some expectations that I have. For right now I will enjoy what I have here and wait.
